Do not profile me because I am leaving a comment but that type of enforcement is ridiculous. I think that people need to stop relying on the government for everything and we will not have laws like this one. Everyday we give away our rights more and more because we keep looking to the government for answers when we need to look at ourselves for the answers of our every day lives.

When we fought England to have our own country with our own rules it was so that we could all be sovereign and be our own Kings of our house hold as well as carrying a gun. What happened to that and all the rights that we fought for?

Stop voting in all of these people into the office that want to take away our rights and we need to stop needing the help of the government or we will be slaves. People need to stand up for there rights whether it be small or big. The best slaves are the ones who do not know that they are slaves and this story makes one feel like a slave who’s rights can be taken away at anytime and if one were to react in a free way than they would be jailed. I just do not like that but to get the word out one would have to get there rights back in a civil and none violent way, just make sure your voice is heard.

Constitutional rights are only surrendered when one is lawfully being apprehended for a dangerous crime. Operating within the law never gives an official the right to remove or suspend out rights.

After reading this account of illegal search and seizure, I will think twice before surrendering my weapon to an official. The point at which an armed official over steps his or her bounds is where I or my family or those around me are in personal danger of bodily harm from said official and need my protection. An official who grossly oversteps their bounds is no longer duly appointed by the state.

When law abiding citizens become criminals by caveat, a citizen’s revolt is not far behind.

Please attach your web pages with a share button it would be easier for old ladies like me (I’m still teaching myself how to use the computer) to share this kind of blatant oppression of our civil rights to sights like twitter, facebook, stmble upon stc. I’ll try to figure out how to copy and past and embed? The more America knows the more they are warned to vote this type of discrimination out of office. Hi I lived in Shrevport for 17 years , so i am not supprised at this.
I think it had to do with he had posted on his auto, it kind of like putting a rebel flag on your truck and going into black area, I say he was asking for it.

This mayor is an idiot who has no clue about the law. I was trained in the Missouri 470 law Enforcement Academy. I know a little bit about the law.
Under federal law, your rights are NOT suspended when you have been detained by a Law Enforcement officer.
Mr Baillio’s rights were violated. The Officer wrongly questioned him based on this gentleman’s pro-gun views and made no effort to ask about license, insurance or the reason he was pulled over.
The officer is in need of a repremand, at minimum, and the Mayor is in need of a brain.
