What the Thune Amdendment really means

Small mountains of ink, electrons and hot air have been expended talking about the so-called Thune Amendment, which would have liberalized conceal carry reciprocity.

The amendment to a Defense Department bill received a majority of votes, 58-39, however it failed to gain the necessary 60 votes needed to override a threatened filibuster by arch anti-gunner Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY).

While the amendment itself may have been pro-gun, the shenanigans surrounding the vote should cause many gun rights activist to pause.

There is ample evidence to suggest that this vote was orchestrated by Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) and Thune merely to give Republicans and vulnerable Dems a “pro-gun vote” going into August recess and the upcoming election.

In short, everyone knew that this amendment would fail.  It was only brought forward as a pre-election stunt to buy a handful of Senator street-cred with gun voters.

From the Charlotte Gun Rights Examiner:

Laudable though Thune’s goal of national concealed carry may be, however, understand that the entire exercise was nothing but a sham in which (surprise, surprise) the amendment failed by a vote of 58 – 39. So before gun rights supporters contact the 58 ever-so-brave US Senators (including 20 Democrats) to thank them for supporting the measure, all should understand that its failure was preordained by Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and quite probably sanctioned by the NRA.

(Side note: Sixty votes – for “cloture” – were required for passage rather than the usual 51 due to a threatened filibuster by perennially anti-gun Sen. Charles Schumer. In the gentile land of the US Senate, threats routinely substitute for real action.)

In reality, Reid is vulnerable in his 2010 re-election bid and, consequently, threw the NRA a very small bone.

And what does the NRA get? The appearance of accomplishing something – if not actual passage of the amendment, at least a recorded vote which purports to show who’s “fer ya” and “agin ya.” More action means more NRA members and more money.

Unfortunately, however, the vote shows nothing of the sort and, indeed, undermines your ability to assess which senators are actually pro-gun. The exercise is common, and here’s how it works: Chamber leadership (read that “Democrat”) gives a pass to members in conservative (or vulnerable) districts to vote for a measure which the leadership intends to kill – all the while keeping enough votes against, by Democrats in secure districts, to ensure defeat. They know, after all, that the NRA won’t waste money going after Chuck Schumer, Diane Feinstein or Frank Lautenberg.

So the result is a vote in which anti-gun Democrats such like Sen. Kay Hagan (D-NC) get to posture as gun rights supporters.

As a masterful touch, the amendment failed by just two votes – exactly the number of Republicans who voted against it, giving the appearance that failure was due to lack of Republican unity.

If the drama demonstrates anything, it is that, as Mark Twain put it, “It could probably be shown by facts and figures that there is no distinctly native American criminal class except Congress.”

To make matters worse, Senate Democrats were all too willing to go along with this charade.   Arkansas Senator Mark Pryor (D) and Colorado Senator’s Mark Udall (D) and Mike Bennett (D) were given “permission” to vote in favor of the measure by Senate patriarch Schumer.

From Dana Milbank’s Washington Post column:

How do you outgun the NRA? Very, very carefully.

Mark Pryor knows all about that. The Democratic senator from pro-gun Arkansas was nowhere to be seen on the Senate floor during Wednesday’s showdown over a proposal, championed by the National Rifle Association, that would have gutted state gun-control laws across the nation.

After a morning of angry speeches, a vote was called at high noon. Toward the end of the vote, Pryor entered the chamber through the back door, took a few steps inside, flashed a thumbs-down to the clerk, and retreated as fast and furtively as somebody dodging gunfire.

Several minutes later, the Democrats had racked up more than enough votes to block the proposal. “Are there any senators in the chamber wishing to vote or wishing to change their vote?” the presiding officer inquired.

Pryor burst back in, this time through a side door. “Mr. President!” he called out. “Mr. President!” He stopped in the well to consult with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), a gun-control advocate who was keeping the whip sheet. Schumer gave Pryor a nod, and the Arkansan — reassured that his vote was not needed to defeat the proposal — changed his vote to an “aye.”

If Pryor wasn’t exactly a profile in courage, keep in mind: The gun lobby has a lot of money and a lot of clout, not to mention a lot of guns. And it doesn’t mind firing off a few rounds to keep lawmakers in line.

Only two Republicans went against the gun lobby, but that was enough to leave supporters just short of the 60 votes they needed. The slim margin was no accident: Other Democrats, such as Pennsylvania’s Bob Casey and Colorado’s Mark Udall and Michael Bennet, were said to have been willing to vote “no” if necessary. Twenty minutes after the voting began, Bennet and Udall left the cloakroom together and walked into the chamber. Bennet went to the well to consult with Schumer, who indicated that it was safe for Bennet — a product of D.C.’s St. Albans School — to vote with the NRA. Bennet looked to Udall, who gave an approving nod, and cast his “aye” vote.

Schumer found himself in the unusual position of opposing many of the moderate Democrats he helped bring to office as the head of Senate Democrats’ campaign efforts, including Webb, Casey, Jon Tester (Mont.) and Mark Warner (Va.). “Senator,” a reporter noted to Schumer at a post-vote news conference, “you were staring down some of the folks you were losing on the floor.”

“No. I wasn’t at all,” Schumer replied. “There was no staring down at all — none.”

Gun owners must remember, just because Republicans say they’re pro-gun doesn’t necessarily mean they are.

How did they do all of it? They are controlling the News Media same as Adolf Hitler did.Look at the news cnn then to NBC, then to FOX all at the same time on same subject.Looks like the Dems are controlling all but Fox? I Rest MY CASE.

This is in response too Pam’s post at 17:57

I was born in Germany and immigrating to the US in 1954 with my parents, for a better life.

Today I am 66, have lived a fruitful life, benefiting from all this country offered me. At age 16 I became a naturalized citizen of this great country, along with the rest of my family. In those day one had to live in the States for a minimum of 5 years before one could apply for citizenship.

Like you Pam there had been many occasions that I asked my parents the same question; “Why didn’t the people do something?” and I received the same answer as you, “We didn’t know”. Hitler was charismatic, spoke with authority (no teleprompter needed)and promised his people “change”, and CHANGE is what they got (sound familiar?) He even went so far as promising each household a new Volkswagen (GM Bailout anyone?)

I couldn’t understand how the people did not know. Today I understand. In the late 30’s and early 40’s there were few media outlets, not like we have today. Those that were available, newspaper and radio, were controlled by the government. Anything detrimental towards the well being of the government was squashed very quickly, so the people couldn’t know. Today we have what is known as the 5th estate of government, or the news media. Do you feel controlled yet?

I see history repeating itself right here right now. Which media outlets are we hearing from that is giving us at least some truths? Not ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC or any of the other affiliates connected with them. Have any of these outlets reported the dissatisfaction the people of Chicago have with our current government? OF COURSE NOT! Yet the Internet is full of pictures of dissatisfied Americans, marching and protesting against what is happening to them. You know of what I speak.

Putting it into perspective for Germany during 1940-41, I can see how the people didn’t know, they were spoon fed by their government that all was well and that they were winning the war (is it really true that the economy has recovered? Don’t you believe it).

I remember my parents telling me the bombings they’ve sustained, bombed out of their homes on five different occasions, yet being told that Germany is winning the war.

Don’t let history repeat itself here. We have the greatest country with the greatest Constitution and the greatest people, who want nothing more than peace and to remain free from bondage by an oppressive government. We cannot be allowed to be led as Sheep to the slaughter house.

Our representatives are coming home next week for a long deserved vacation (according to them), but I say don’t let them have the rest they think they deserve. Put them on the hot seat and ask them how they voted on the various issues that affect each one of us, and press them for an answer. Ask them how they voted on the Health bill, the Sotomayor confirmation and most importantly to every citizen, the right to bear arms. Ask them and make them uncomfortable, so they’ll wonder if reelections in November are going to be attainable for them.

  • It goes back to one thing…. check their voting records from the time they were elected to date. A leopard cannot change its spots and a politician cannot outrun their own stink.

  • John D.

Mike Ronsiek, you are right on. I feel exactly the way you do. I hope the sleeping giant we know as true Americans wake up before it’s too late. I’m with you brother. This is our country. God Bless America.

My fellow gun advocates. I suggest that come election time, we that love our second amendment rights vote all these bums out !!. Im so sick of these self serving slobs. I can’t wait until Harry Reid is out, and sent back to Search Light, NV.

    God help us.

Every American has to continue to fight against this administration thru the internet by informing each of our friends who forwards all the information to their friends, who forwards this information to their friends etc, etc, etc, untill election time, when we can use the power of our vote to get these tyrants out of office and elect the kind of representation that will bring this country back to the good ole

Look at the rat in the congress…just look at what pases for “leadership”! Why would you want to vote for any of ‘em? All liars, theives and corruption from the bottom to the top…(that is if you want to give that status to the president! I certainly don’t. When I say from the bottom to the top what I mean is it starts with this president, marxist, commie, liberal (at the bottom). And what about the top? Who is there. How about some of the pages in the senate..they are not old enough to have done a lot wrong. They are probably still idealistic. But give ‘em time, they will work their way to the bottom and maby become president some day! A helluva note… where the whole dammn policitcal “leadership” is a sewer. How did this happen. How can it be changed. TT

One large reason for our problem with things like Health Care, gun control (right to bear arms), our second amendment, illegal immigrants, members of Congress etc.. is our lack of unity. We as a country are so wide spread and are not using our voice and “effort” for a common cause. If we used the internet or some other forum to attack a common cause like gun control, setting up a date and time for that million people mention above in the 45 comments to gather in DC we might just be surprised how many folks might have the time and effort to show up. Realizing that people have to work and take care of business it would be hard to organize but after reading the comments section its not hard to see that “America has talent” so can someone with the obvious amount of time needed for this undertaking PLEASE step up to that plate and take charge. Select a time, a date, location to meet in protest of our rights. Example Dec. 28, 2009 10:00 a.m. Washington DC. Bring your own sign and be nice and firm with your issue. I think it is just as important as the next person to take control and would love the opportunity to serve with my fellow American’s. Sure we have to join together.

  • Cate

Looks like we need to clean house at the state and Federal level. We’ll have to get out a hugh number of real people to out number jthe dead people that acorn lets vote though. I live in Washington State, believe me I know.

  • Carolyn Rochester

It does not matter about his birth certificate! One needs to get a hold of his school records! That would give you a true story about how he got to go to college and WHO paid for that tuition! That is, assuming those records have not been retouched!!

  • DavidLasry

We are rapidly losing our Great Nation to forces of evil. It baffles me how obama (capital O left out, as I do not respect this imposter) was elected in the first place. Now we have imposter Republicans conspiring with the anti-gun forces. We have pro Second Amendment Senators that will now vote for Sotamayer, a radical Judge with a record of biased decisions. The head of Homeland Security distrusts Vetrans and gun owners. The head of the Justice department is anti -gun. The President is anti-gun. Once the states lose their rights, its all over friends.
I never thought I would see such things happening. But they are, and we best be prepared.

  • This is just another ploy by the politicians to DUPE the SHEEP into believing that they are really WORKING FOR US, These JUDIS GOATS are the BIGGEST MANURE PILIERS in the world. Time to give this COUNTRY AN ENIMA putting the HOSE IN WASHINGTON, DC. Time to take OUR COUNTRY BACK.

  • Hi guys,
I am horrified at this sham of a vote on concealed gun carry. Not only do we need to vote them out, we need to start rattling cages about hand count voting. Get rid of the programmable voting machines and ocular scans. We know
ROn Paul won in NH, because enough voters called in and said they voted for him to make 8% victory, just reported by NBC on a poll about IN GOD WE TRUST, as a reason media polls and official polls don’t match. Bad NBC. THe votes didn’t match the projected vote by NBC because the polls are pre programmed. Look at MN and the clown who got in there. Well, carry on. Vote No OR GO. HAND COUNT ballots.

  • Grant Bussard

I’m not a conspiracy theorist by large, but this could fit into Obama’s anti-gun , one-world order/Goverment plank. With co-conspirters in the house and sen.

  • Roger Clark

WE ALL NEED TO FIGHT SOCIALISM IN OUR GOVERNMENT; WE HAVE TO STAND AS ONE OR UNITED AS A WHOLE; TO FIGHT THE CORRUPTION AND STOP THE WRONG.

  • Roger Clark

ALL THE GUN OWNERS OF USA SHOULD STAND UNITED VOTE FOR THE GOOD OF THE PEOPLE AND AND BE STRONG

  • Glenn

Folks, I agree with the things you all commented on. I too am a Patriot, gun owner and God fearing man. I am also a life NRA member. I don’t agree with the NRA’s every move but they are the strongest and biggest membership group we have going for us. Are they perfect? No. But don’t give up too easily on the NRA. 4 million plus members is nothing to shake a stick at and if the 60 million gun owners were members then congress would not be doing what they are doing and Obama would not be president. I agree with term limits more as time with this administration goes by. I agree with the fact that emails and talking have run their course and other action is necessary. I don’t agree with force but if that is what’s needed, then so be it. Henry Kissenger has told the U.N. the people of the U.S. are ready to give up their guns. Apparently he didn’t inquire with us before making that statement. September 2009 was given as a deadline for gun confiscation and turn in’s to be completed. I also hear thru the internet and these are unsupported rumors that the U.N. has many foreign troops in Michigan, North Carolina, California and Texas just waiting for some form of uprising to occur so that martial law can be imposed and then here comes the U.N. to forcibly remove/confiscate/kill/imprison all gun owners that refuse or resist. I hope this is not true but I do not put anything past this congress. Regardless, make plans to be in D.C. 09-12-09 to be part of the tea party. Also in April 2010 there is a planned 2nd amendment march in D.C. (that is if we still have a 2nd amendment at that time). Otherwise it might be time for Paul Revere to make another round with his lantern. God bless you all and keep the internet hot. Something has got to give.

  • JAMES ROMER

WE NEED TO FIRE ALL THESE LOW LIFE, UNPATRIOTIC BASTARDS IN CONGRESS. THE UNSCRUPULOUS TRAITORS SHOULD BE HUNG BY THE NECK UNTIL DEAD AS THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN 100 YEARS AGO.

WHEN WILL AMERICANS WAKE UP AND SEE WHAT THESE CORRUPT LIARS ARE DOING TO OUR COUNTRY???

  • mike webb

i must ask all fellow gun owners—the big picture question,,here it is – what does washington dc the vatican/and the “city of london” in side of london city all have in common ? well their flag of course ! yup ! white background with 2 red stripes and 3 red stars,,,hmn…i think the real picture on gun control is much bigger than we are aware of…food for thought !

  • donna pedrey

2010 election is our chance. Vote and get your friends to vote. Obama’s 52% is not a mandate. He is losing his base because people are uncomfortable with his lack of wisdom and experience. A lot of people who voted for him are now afraid we have given him the power to destroy America, but it is far from over. Get out the vote in 2010. Fire Congress!!!

  • Luke Patrino

This type of legislation has been going on forever. The only way to stop them is to vote everyone running for re-election in 2010 out, all of the House and the the 33 or 34 in the Senate. The cancer has spread to all corners of our government, or should I say their government because they sure don’t represent We The People. As far as FOX news goes, it’s the same thing, THE GOOD COP BAD COP routine. Fair and Balanced is a politicall correct saying for a BOLD FRESH PILE OF HORSES**T

  • I have mixed feelings about a national CCL. I think this could lead to faster confiscation when the time, should it ever happen, comes. I live in NYC the 2nd most difficult place to get a concealed carry license outside of Chicago. I have a home/target license which took 6 months and $700 toget without the cost of the weapon. Difficult but not impossible. I think the states should retain the right with reciprocity with other states and be kept private. I will move to a gun friendly state because I feel that strongly.

  • Ron Nelson

Just more proof that theses folks don’t represent us.

What the people are not taking into consideration is, when the government takes away our guns, it will leave the good people defenseless, put the guns into the hands of the terrorists and the bad buys, because they are the ones who will have them. We, the law abiding citizens, will be targets and open season for anyone who gets the warped skitzo notion to take our lives into their hands. If we are attached and invaded, we will be defenseless. Is this part of obama’s plan? With obama opening our borders, funding Hamas, funding and paying for all illegal aliens to keep them up, feed them, pay their housing and all their medical bills, it’s a beacon for all the world to come to America and live free, and do their terrorism closer to the target. And, we stupid Americans can pay for it all. How stupid can the people running this wonderful country get?!!!!! We are paying for our own demise!

Anyone who supports this and does not take up for this land of the free deserves to be slave to this new government. Not many people have this gift of common sense and are able to add up two plus two. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to add up all obama is doing. He’s pushing all this too fast, putting too many rogue bills out there for one mind to deal with. This in itself is designed to confuse and confound us into concentrating on just one thing and to make us give up. This man is a danger to our freedoms, our rights, and our sovereignty.

We have created a monster, and I do not trust this Benedict Arnold no farther than I can toss him. He’s a cancer to our free world, and he is winning, because we are too stoic and weak and we think someone else will handle it. OR, we accept it as the way it is, and suck it up. Not what our forefathers did when dealing with the British.

I am ashamed of our aceptance of this unconstitutional democratic hostal takeover of our government. I am ashamed that we put total faith in complete pure idiots who want complete and total power and control of our free country and each and every person in it. Our freedoms are GONE! obama has read Hitler’s HandBook well.

Every American citizen, from every war, i.e.,WWI, WWII, who died for our freedoms, bled and died in vain and are turning over in their graves. The horrors they went through are for nothing, because we are now a dictatorship, soon to be a Marxist dictatorship. Because it always happens this way, the powers get more power and more control, and there’s not a thing you will be able to do about it. Read the Declaration of Independence, it speaks about this very thing that is happeing to us right now.

We are in a seige, and people can’t see what is happening. They accept it are too busy to fight, they think someone else will do it and all will turn out good. Our government is in a hostile takeover, and we are not standing by the Declaration of Independence, or by our Constitution. It just doesn’t mean the same thing as it did to our forefathers who bled and died for it. We take advangage of what they did, and what this free country has even been for us all our lives.

The only way for them to see this is when they will truly experience what it feels like and what it means to lose it…… Then it will be too late.

    God help us!

  • Looey Munn

I agree on the need for following the rigthts in the Constitution. But as shown by the energy Bill and the helth bill, Washington is NOT looing ot for our good, but lining their own pockets, Demo and repubs alike.
But we do not have good government since the major media ALL supress the small but good candidates, and so many believe the Media!
South Africa came thru a time when the government changed when the peaceable whites had no rights against marauding bands of thieves and murderers.
And those who think of Hitler, well, remember the economy was brought down by the government spending money it did not have and just kept printing under the economy fell, and Hitler could move right in! JUST klike our government is doing today, print and spend, and the Dollare is droppin steadily in value. Soon it will cost more tomprint a dollar than it is worth!
Unfortunately, I am retired, and there are no jobs round anymore, and Obama is taking away my electric power and my health care…the latter I paid for alredy and he is confiscting my money and giving me next to nothing…a wheelchair, pain pills, and a ehad shrinker on how to die quickly and happily!
I can’t do mcuh, but I do support those who can with my thoughts.
Bet now I am on all the government hit lists as an undesireable!!

  • Pam

I am HOPING that there are still some bloggers here… Perhaps o’s term limit is up! Please check out this article, you won’t be sorry, it is the real deal. http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=105764
Now let’s continue banding together and straighten some messed up stuff from our past. We have been too uncaring toward what our reps are doing. That must change!!!

  • I’m disillusioned and saddened that we’ve yet to learn we ALL live on this Big Blue Marble together… definitely shows why each member spent so much money to get a chump-change job…just too much under the table to resist…sad

It is ashamed that A great deal of our Senators and congressmen are so engrossed in Politics and Lobbiests that they cannot see past their Noses. Its time to limit Congressional terms of office and Ban all Lobbists activities. Senators and Congresmen were elected to serve the people not these Special interest Groups

  • Roger

    We the People .
    What does this mean ?
I am sure most people are fed up with the mis truths handed us by our elected officials VINCE FUMO is an example of politicians taking care oftheir own
along with the massive bailout of AIG corp Politicians again looking to take care of their own

  • Otto VonAuchvetter

I agree 100% with Ernie who said it all from experience.
“Don’t let history repeat itself here. We have the greatest country with the greatest Constitution and the greatest people, who want nothing more than peace and to remain free from bondage by an oppressive government. We cannot be allowed to be led as Sheep to the slaughter house.”

  • Deborah

I am not happy with this current president and his ways…..there is question as to whether he was even born an American. What comes across to me as I watch his media is that he loves power and he loves the idea that he has it. I truly hope and pray that he will not get to push change/ ruin to the fundamental freedoms we Americans have long enjoyed. I do not want to live in an oppressive society.

  • shirley crowfoot

The vote was a sham. Without the internet we would not know3 it. PLEASE look at the GOP USA SITE TODAY TO SEE THAT THE INTENET IS THE ADMINISTRATION’S NEXT TARGET. AS IS TALK RADIO.. BAND TOGETHER NOW, BECAUSE SOON WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIND THOSE WHO SHARE OUR CONCERNS FOR THE COUNTRY AND THE CONSTITUTION.

  • I wonder if it is too late. With everyone waiting around “for George to do it”, will anyone step forward?

Obama already has his private army formed. They have been recently seen out in force at the so-called “Town Hall Meetings” acted out by the Democrats. The SEIU and ACORN, along with all of the other radical activist groups are already big enough to over power us. The only thing left strong enough to resist them is the U.S. Military. Obama is doing the best he can to neuter them as quickly as possible.

When violence comes, what will we do? What will you do? If we wait for George to do it, it is already too late.

Our government still works. But it requires enormous effort by everyone of us to make it so. Telephone, E-mail, Facsimile, U.S.P.S. and personal visits to our representatives in government and ulimately voting all incumbents out of office if they don’t do as we say.

The problem is they think they were elected to do what they want, not what we who elected them want. Obama said it himself. He won the election. HE WON! Which means he has assumed the power of dictatorship to do whatever he pleases. Only Congress and the courts can stop him. But with anymore Sotomayors on the Supreme Court, only Congress is left.

You still have power to put pressure on your representatives and you still have a vote to turn them out of office when they fail to represent you. It must be done now. Everyday. May God Bless our Republic.

  • L. Hyak

The saying goes, “If you fall in love with a politician they will only break your heart.” How applicable in this instance and of course many others previous.

There are just to many RINO’s in the congress and they have the help of the libs, they do sleep together you know. If you want proper legislation then the congress will need to be changed and the fight is not going to be easy or short, it will be hard and dirty because good things do not come easy and the creatures in Wasington are of course far smarter than we peons and unwashed….don’t forget that point.

  • Ted Gregg

What we need more than ever is ‘term limits’ for every elected official, whether they are state, local, or federal. I’ll go one step farther: NO RETIREMENT!
That should keep out and get out a lot of the near-do-wells we seem to be stuck with.

  • Sirs, Iam a hunter and want to keep my guns, the crooks and people who should not have them . They are going to get them one way or the other even if they have to buy them through the black market,I cannot for the life of me understand why you want to take guns away from the good guys. Charley

  • steve

This sounds like they are scrambling to get revoted back in, don’t be fooled, vote 2010 for other parties than Rep and Demo. This would send a good message to these guys and gals. Vote for other parties once position on gun control is verified. Vote constitutional believers only.

  • I found this video about NAGR Gun Rights Blog » What the Thune Amdendment really means quite different than ones that I found before. Do you have any more? Thanks

  • David

Gosh, is anyone surprised by the news about “vote fixing” in congress?? These crooks think they’re above the law. Just look at Bloomberg, has he been prosecuted for his violations of federal firearms laws?? Where’s the outrage over that??
Hopefully, Americans will wake up very soon.

  • I have a close friend who was a high-level official in Evan Bayh’s administration when he was governor of Indiana. He has always referred to Bayh as “conservative” – and I always tacked on the addendum “for a Democrat.” I sent him an email wondering if Bayh is having difficulty reconciling his essentially centrist view with the pressure to align with his party leadership’s leftist views. I think there are a lot of Democrats that may be in that situation. The party’s leadership seems to have been taken over by socialists who have no room for differing views.

  • the iceman

THUNE / 2012, and remember in november the two things to keep in mind!!
I just recieved an email from the rnc (lower case intentional as I have no case lower) it opened “Dear fellow conservative”, it was from rudy giuliani (the liberal in a repugnican suit) emails like this just prove that the republicans still have no clue why they keep losing

  • Tim

I can’t wait until Boxer and Feinstien go the way of the dinosaurs! These two have done incredible damage not just to gun owners in CA, but to consumers everywhere because of their pro-big-business and anti-consumer stances. I can’t believe they have been in office as long as they have, but they have obviously found a way to snow-job the voters here in CA! I can’t wait for CA to wake up and pull it’s head out of it’s a$$!
