Reid on the ropes
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s re-election appears more in doubt than ever. The Cook Political Report, a Washington political handicapper, has placed Reid’s Senate race in the “Toss Up” column. This is quite a shift in fortunes for the leader of the United States Senate.

The Cook Political Report just changed the rating on the Nevada U.S. Senate race from Likely Democrat to Toss Up.
Key point: “If we were skeptical of Reid’s vulnerability at the start of the cycle, we have become increasingly convinced over the last two months or so that he is as endangered as any Democratic incumbent seeking re-election in 2010. Reid’s inability to improve his standing in the polls, coupled with the deteriorating political environment for Democrats nationally and Lowden’s impending entry into the race, are clear indications that his political problems are deep and will be difficult (though not impossible) to fix.”
I’ve been banging this drum hard recently, but my point bears repeating. As long as Senator Reid’s re-election is in doubt, gun owners must continue to pressure him to use his virtually complete control of the Senate to block any gun control legislation.

I hope every person who reads this, will do everything in their power to vote against any one who is in their distric that is an anti gun politician. We can do it folks, their is more of us then their are of them. Just have to get folk’s out to the polls this next year. It will send a message to those that are voted in and those that are left a message that will last a hundred years.

For the first time in my life I am “pushing the calender” we can not have the 2010 elections to soon in my opinion!!!!!!!! I am so ready to see people with common sense elected rather than those with an adjanda to fill their own pocketbook. Then in 2012 lets hope for a complete house cleaning!!!!!!
If Reed is voted out it will be the best thing that can happen, would be even better if he takes Nancy Pelosi with him.
My guess is he will retire if the polls show a non favorible count on his winning the 2010 Senate race.
It is high time that “Dirty Harry Reid” be ousted from the Senate. Maybe he can get a job in a casino as a dealer. OOPS I forgot they only hire HONEST people.
Although few know she is going to run, do not forget about Sharron Angle, a former four time Assemblywoman in the State of Nevada. As of two weeks ago, she was the only candidate that had actually filed the paperwork to run against Reid. She is very pro-Constitution and a strong 2nd amendment supporter. She is a better choice than Lowden who is a puppet of the Casino industry.
Remember, even though you may not live in Nevada, you can donate to her campaign. Since Reid is notorious for going after big donators, if many people who do not want Reid re-elected, would contribute less than $200, it will not be recorded. He’ll never know what hit him.

If we can get a absolute clear majority in Congress in 2010, then the Republicans can demand that the Obamanation come clean about his past – everything. Either that or he won’t be able to pass a law to change the postage rate, forget about th bogus ObamaCare
Although I served in the military for 30 years, and don’t presently own any weapons, I totally agree with ALL of the above three comments: 1. Vote him OUT. 2. WE have the numbers and 3. Force Nobama to produce ALL of his ‘records’. Once REAL Americans discover he’s been lying about his past and ran for Pres KNOWING that he was NOT ELIGIBLE, then for the next 50 years, the libs won’t have ANY credibility with the American people. The basic problem is the U.S. Congress and Senate are in the pockets of large corporations and big labor. Chris Dodd received $224,000 from AIG between 2003 and 2008 and then he lied about the bonuses going to AIG excutives which I would consider a pay back for helping retain his senate seat.Senator Dodd, Senator Shummer, and Congressman Barney Frank are almost entirely responsible for the housing meltdown which occur last year by pressuring banks to give loans to people who could not afford them. Dodd and Frank were on the financial services committee which was suppost to be overseeing the banks.Warnings went up in 2004 that the housing market was in trouble and they ignored them and refused to investigate.
The entire congress is responsible for the energy problems in this country. They have had since 1973 to do something about the energy policies and they have sat on their cans and done nothing. We should have been energy independent 20 years ago, but they have done nothing because their time in session is about equal to most peoples’ vacation time. As a NRA member I have asked the NRA to withdraw any support for this traitor to the American People. He may have been good for gun owners, but past that he is a leftist that wants the 11 Million illegals to become US citizens, after obuma passes his health care thus locking up the vote in 2012.
If the American people would do a litle research, they’d find out that all of the senators; who are in office, are in violation of the Constitution. When they changed the method of electing the senators, from the state legislatures to the popular vote; (17th amendment) they neglected to properly ratify, that particular amendment. The government said it was properly ratified, and you know they’d never lie to you; but they just didn’t tell us the truth. There’s documented information available, that shows the 17th amendment was not lawfully ratified; but they don’t want you to know, it’s available. When the people lost control of the government, we lost our country. We have the best traitors, that money can buy.
When we lost the means of hiring or firing the senators, if they didn’t do as they were instructed; we lost control of our country, and have been paying for it ever since.
We need to reach up and grab our ears, and pull down. When we get out of the dark spot, we may be able to see better. Fire not only Reid, but all of them; and start fresh.

If we lose the right to have guns, we are cooked as a nation. We need to weed out every politician that is against the 2nd amendment written just the way it is. These people are all for it until they are elected and George Soros who backed Obummer was the guy that got guns banned in Australia and imported the people that accomplished that feat there, to this country and got them on the fast track to become American citizens. If we do not pay attention, we will soon not be able to use guns, the short supply of ammo should tell everyone all they need to know and the ammo is not in short supply because of all the weapons sales, it is because Obummer does not want ammo out there, no ammo, no guns.

Obama, a narciscist, along with congress is taking our country into despotism.We must stop this crises now! Everyone, young and old and all in between, must be informed about what is happening and quick. People need to know how to fight back before it is too late.
Although I may move there, too late, I’m not Nevadan and don’t know any Nevadans. So there isn’t much I can do to either pressure or depose Reid.
I’m also strongly pro-choice, so if Reid’s opponant were anti-choice, even a stong gun rights position might not force me to vote against him, thus I usually vote Libertarian rather than Republican.
I live in Northern Nevada and would vote for ANYONE who was/is NOT A REID. Lowden is a good choice, but Tarkenian is better, I think. Angle is running, but I am not sure what seat she is after, but she is a non-starter, and not worth anyone’s vote on any seat. I have known her career since day one, and in many cases she seems more like a Democrat than anything else. By the way, pass the word, DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY REID wherever they might be running, no matter the post they are seeking. The whole family is corrupt, starting with the Father, Harry, and going all through each of the sons, who all thought that they were going to become the royalty of Nevada, over my dead body…… I really wish Dean Heller would consider going against Harry, but he has said that won’t happen, too bad….. Ensign is a geat guy, even though he f*cked up on his marriage and admitting the affair, he still is a very upright and honest person in the political ring, and MAYBE, he can get it together enough to survive and come out as sometehing better in the future. I really want Gibbons to stay as Governor, but everyone seems to think that he is through, although he did do exactly what he stated he would do on the budget for Nevada, even though he got vetoed by the Legislature, and that was only because some were term-limited out and most were Dems, led by Buckley and Titus and now Rory Reid wants to get the post as Gov….to totally corrupt the State of Nevada. Reid has been working for this for a long time, just like Pelosi in CA, they are all determined to suck Nevada DRY!!!

Harry Reid has long ago forgotten what an American is. Unfortunately we have an idiot that doesn’t know either. The most important thing we can do is elect a sufficient number of Independents and Republicans to have the checks and balances this country was founded on. Senators like Harry Reid are the shame for the wonderful State of Nevada. The Great American in Nevada need to elect sombody dedicated to serve the People in Nevada and The Republic.
I understand that the main reason ammo is in short supply is due largely to Obama stopping military sales of shell casings to the large ammo manufacturer in Georgia who uses them to reload ammo and sell it to distributors. Instead, Obama now has the military cut up the casings and sell them to China as scrap metal. If this it true, tax payers are hurt two ways. Many caliburs of ammo is not available and we are not getting top dollar for the military casings. This is the kind of waste the current administration is infamous for putting into play. I too believe Harry Reid will be defeated in the next election. I only hope a independent or Republican is elected. Maybe now with all that is being done to under mine America’s future by this President and Congress, the people who were fooled into voting them in office will vote them out and then we can see POSITIVE CHANGE in our country.

Senator Reid needs to be removed from the Senate through affirmative action by the voters. He is a (or ws) a stout Mormon who many years ago defended the rights to bear arms in Nevada. He was a great guy and as he has become the tyrant through this position that he is, I wonder what the good gracious Mormons think of him? He should be removed as Nevada has always been pro hunting, gun clubs, hunter safety and training in the use of firearms. He has lost touch of his state and the reason is because he has to hang out with people like Pelosi, Schummer and listne to Bloomberg. Along with the other mediocre politicians who are belling up to Obama’s guilded glory.
