I agree!  Since Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is THE KEY to stopping any new, permanent “Assault Weapons” Ban, you and I must do everything we can to turn up the heat.

Second Amendment supporters must send the message that if Senator Reid so much as allows a hearing on the so-called “Assault Weapons” Ban, he could lose his seat -- plain and simple.

The good news is, right now, you and I have a real shot of stopping the so-called “Assault Weapons Ban” if we can mobilize Nevada gun owners in time.

I believe that putting pressure on Senator Reid is imperative, in our effort to block renewal of the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban."  That's why I will make a generous donation to the National Association for Gun Rights to ensure they have the funds to fully run this program.

Whereas: Passage of the so-called “Assault Weapons” Ban would be an enormous infringement on law-abiding gun owners’ Second Amendment rights; and;

Whereas: Attorney General Eric Holder recently stated that one of the Obama Administration’s goals is reinstitute a new so-called “Assault Weapons” Ban; and

Whereas: Recently, your Senate Office claimed “if the bill were to come up for a vote” in the Senate, you would vote against it saying you were opposed to the bill; and

Whereas: As Senate Majority Leader, you have the power to single-handedly KILL the “Assault Weapons” Ban by refusing to allow any Senate action;

Therefore: As a Second Amendment supporter, I STRONGLY urge you to refuse to allow so much as a hearing on a new “Assault Weapons” Ban.
