Director, Communications

Chris Stone serves as the Director of Communications for the National Association for Gun Rights. Responsible for overseeing the external and internal communications for the entire organization, Chris also works closely with outside media organizations and leading NAGR’s public relations department. Chris formerly served as NAGR’s chief political liaison, and led NAGR’s Washington, D.C. office and overall lobbying activities on Capitol Hill.

Before joining the NAGR team, Chris defended gun rights by leading grassroots activities with multiple pro-gun organizations. He credits his motivation to protect Second Amendment freedoms to his internship at the U.S. House of Representatives. Chris received his Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from George Mason University.

Chris lives in Northern Colorado with his wife Amber and two young children. He and his family enjoy experiencing the vast outdoor activities of Colorado to include sport shooting, snowboarding and camping. Chris values the time he gets to spend as a Sunday school teacher and coaching youth sports.
