Digital Projects Coordinator

The Digital Projects Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and project coordination of email/digital communications that NAGR and affiliated state groups have with members under the direction of the Director of Marketing.

This individual oversees the team’s production schedules, is responsible for coordinating with the creative teams, and carries out the production and quality control of email, website, and other media for the organization. They must ensure that all online messaging is carried out in a timely manner, while reaching our members across multiple digital channels.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Implement and follow production schedules
    • Online communications may include:
      • Emails and Coding
      • Facebook
      • Creation of website landing pages
    • Assist in completion of the Semi-Annual Program Reviews
      • Email Bluebook audit
      • Test results/analysis
      • Deliverability/list size metrics
    • Review and approve state group email bluebooks
    • Weekly updates for national email test bluebook
  • Implement NAGR Public Identity and Messaging
    • Approve and deploy email sends
      • Check segments, subject line, sender, links, and disclaimers
      • Create new segments when necessary
      • Occasionally draft copy
    • Make sure messaging is consistent across NAGR and statewide digital platforms
    • Stay updated with current political news across the country
    • Track bluebooks, deliverability, and engagement to change messaging according to what best reaches our members
    • Review and oversee the implementation of regular email schedules for both national and state sends, while maintaining a big picture knowledge of what content is being sent and when
    • Review and deploy regular and consistent emails to members
  • Research and analyze email metrics
    • Daily/weekly monitoring of national email performance
      • Deliverability
      • Revenue and response
      • Make recommendations for future messaging based on findings
      • Recommend and implement new standards to improve deliverability and response
    • Email list health and updates
      • Perform routine list scrubs for all national and state group email lists
      • Routine cross pollination between email lists
      • Manually update positive zero responses from external sources

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Asana task management
  • Basic data analysis
  • Knowledge of email marketing
  • Knowledge of direct mail marketing

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $34k- $36k
