Marketing Project Coordinator

The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for tracking all direct mail projects and deadlines while
communicating with all of the stakeholders involved with the mail job for the National Association for Gun
Rights and state group affiliates.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Project Coordinator is responsible for tracking all direct mail projects and deadlines while communicating with all the stakeholders involved with the mail job for the National Association for Gun Rights and state group affiliates

Primary Duties:

  • Create specification sheet based on mail summary sheet provided by copywriter
  • Bid out each mail job to a variety of mail shops best suited to handle the package and select a winning shop
  • Submit final approved package and data select to contracted print shop
  • Track daily progress of mail package status in the creation stage to ensure drop date will be met
  • Serves as point of contact between marketing and contracted print shops for status updates
  • Review and approve merge proofs and insertion order received from print shop in final setup stage
  • Maintain a filing system and records of each job to include bids, merge proofs, and any documentation received by the print shops for each job
  • Oversee filing system of mail salt

Supervisory Duties:

Oversee the daily functions of print production specialist(s) and ensuring the following tasks are completed successfully

  • Printing and producing mail pieces on appropriate equipment under the direction of the
    Senior Project Coordinator.
  • Helping with the proofreading of all mail pieces before production begins.
  •  Maintaining operational equipment and coordinating repair efforts with the Senior Project
    Coordinator.
  •  Developing strategies to deal with equipment malfunctions and unforeseen pitfalls while still
    maintaining a timely print production schedule.
  • Keeping the mail shop floor and storage areas clean and orderly.
  •  Tracking inventory and ensuring supplies are ready when in house projects need production.
  • Excellence in all work habits, work quality, and timeliness is expected.
  • Ability to track deadlines in real time and push projects to excellence upon completion is
    necessary.
  •  Producing bid sheets and working with outside vendors to complete mail pieces for the
    National Association for Gun Rights and state affiliates.
  •  Other tasks as assigned based on organzation need

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay Range: $43,000 – $46,000
